WHAT IS DENTAL SLEEP MEDICINE?
​
It is a special branch of dentistry involved with screening and treatment of patients who breathing difficulties or snoring during sleep. Dentists who work in this field undergo additional training and certification to be able to provide high quality care for patients. They work hand in hand with sleep physicians such as neurologists, ENT specialists and respiratory medicine to care for these patients.

Dr Elaine Ng has over 24 years of clinical experience, and has been practicing in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine since 2008, adhering to the strict guidelines of the American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM).

​Dr Elaine Ng provides oral appliance therapy for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnoea and related sleep breathing disorders, as well as comprehensive sleep screening and assessment services for patients suffering from suspected sleep and/or sleep breathing disorders.
